Welcome to Equity UI / Project Beagle!

Equity UI is Femmecubator's open-source design system that started as a collaborative project between mentors and volunteers.

At the Open Sprints 2024 hackathon, fellows from Flatiron School NYC and mentors built together the project's first four components.

By late 2025, a fresh team expanded the library to 10 fully designed and developed components 🎉. Special thanks to the Prima DS team and our mentors at Aroris Health for their invaluable contributions.

Today, Equity-UI is a volunteer-run open source UI library that is servicing two social good brands today: Aroris Health and Femmecubator. This frontend dev toolkit is primarily useful for accelerating and aligning the dev and design process when building digital products.
